I could make a map using the same style as my old map. It just depends on where ninplayer wants everything!

After niny finalyzes the pokedex, we should split this topic into three: one for the light version, one for the dark, and one for the remake.

It will be almost the same story. The Aura/Dark will just vary in which pokemon is captured/defeated first. That is, if it becomes the story. But there will be a seperate topic for the remake.

Hi, I know I'm new here, but I read the treatment for pokefans story and I see a problem.
If this is a war between the pokemon, where do the humans come in? This storyline where the pokemon are running the show instead of the humans feels too much like a spin-off game.
I suggest adjusting the story so that it is a more conventional war between human factions, where trainers and their pokemon are soldiers, and the faction leaders are figure-heads controlled by a legendary pokemon or two. Remember, the main games portray pokemon as animals that do the bidding of humans. Other than certain legendary pokemon, only spin-off games antropomorphise pokemon in the way that's being suggested here.

Pokemon don't have to be captured, you know. There are actually some wild pokemon in the pokemon universe. Anyways, lets see the flaws in your idea. 1. Your saying the pokemon should be the the leaders still, even though you just said that pokemon calling the shots were odd. So, your not agreeing with your own arguement. How does that work out? 2. If pokemon and their trainers were soldiers, do you think trainers would quit when their pokemon faint? No, they would get a gun and blow your head off. So, in this story, you would be forced to take a side when your 16 or something, have to carry a gun with you and kill other humans, which brings guns and death into it, instead of beating people with super natural creatures inside little red and white containers. With humans involved a great deal, don't you think they would use weapons such as guns?

Well, 1. There's never been guns in any of the main pokemon games, so you're game will be the first to feature them.
2. It would make sense if it were a LEGENDARY pokemon pulling the strings, since the legendaries have been shown to have motives and intellectual capability beyond normal pokemon (EG the emotion triplets), so it's not a contradiction.
What I was mainly trying to say is, if it's the pokemon that are fighting, what's the ideological motive for the *human* protagonist to get involved in this war between animals? Animals fight all the time in the real world, and we humans don't do anything more than make documenteries about it.
