This is the first pokemon I'v EVER EV traind, it's meant to be sweper and i want to know if its any good:
Lucario (F) @ Metronome
Trait: Steadfast EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Hardy nature - Close Combat - ExtremeSpeed - Shadow Ball - Swords Dance.
Stats @ Lvl 100: 266/269/152/238/163/251
I'd especially like some help with the move set...i'm not sure which moves would be best.

I would say this shold be in the Rate My Team section, actually.
And sadly, I can't rate it well b/c I don't online battle.

Why hold a metronome? What does that DO!

Give it Life Orb. I don't even know what Metronome does.
Other than that, it's actually a pretty good set. Hardy nature is pretty crappy but I guess it might be hard to find a Hasty or Naive Riolu.

What about BrightPowder? Would that be a good item?

Neutral, and you should never use a neutral nature.
Don't use brightpowder unless he can abuse it somehow, like Snow Clock Froslass in Hail or Sand Veil Gliscor.

Would careful (+ Sp. Def. and -Sp. Attack) be a good nature for Riolu/Lucario, considering mine has it.

It would depend if you wanted to use Close Combat or Aura spear. If CC then yes it would be good. If AS then no. There are a fair amount of attacks he can learn that are based on Sp.Atk. it just depends on which ones you use.

Metronome is an item for when you use a move repetitivly (sp?) it becomes stronger with each time you use it. Once you use a different move though, it resets.
