Maybe it should remain as is(chatot that is) and become a tucan... just a suggestion

I can see why it'd be mistaken for Zapdos, since this thing's an even better special sweeper than everyone's favorite Electric bird. Perhaps you should tone down the Sp.Atk a bit.

These are all name suggestions based on synonyms for/thing relating to "chat" (Chat-ot).
I think the type is fine.

How exactly has it evolved? Just getting bigger and becoming golden doesn't really count as an evolution.
Also, I just tried to evolve my Chatot on Diamond with a Thunderstone. Nothing happened. How does it work now if it never worked before?

And even if you did for some bizarre reason, that doesn't mean everybody else did. What did you do, try evolving it when you saw this?!?!? |

These evolutions are add-ons to the 5th gen, Crater.
And basically it's Flying/Electric because it is supposed to have speaker-like objects around it that project sound.

Evolutions newly added to the 4th gen used methods that couldn't be done back in the 3rd gen games so as not to create evolutionary paradoxes between generations. It's mostly for aesthetics, but makes things a bit more understandable.
Therefore, I think it'd be prudent to maintain this for our generation.
