I need some help too. I don't have a whole bunch of time to work with the Smogon tutors, so... I ask either ninplayer or KE help me in the ways of competitive battling. Lol KE helped me with this team. He worked with my conditions ;D

I go for double battles :3 Gallade + Porygon - Z Gallade @ Focus Sash Nature: Adamant Ability: Steadfest Evs: 255 Atk / 255 Speed / 4 HP ~Ice Punch ~Close Combat ~Psycho Cut ~Night Slash Porygon - Z @ Expert Belt Nature: Timid Ability: Download Evs: 255 Sp Atk / 255 Speed / 4 HP ~Thunderbolt ~Ice Beam ~Dark Pulse ~Tri Attack You're making the same mistake everyone does with Porygon-Z. With Download most likely boosting your attack in doubles, Tri Attack is going to do just as much to dragons as Ice Beam is going to be doing, making Ice Beam pretty much a worthless move slot. What you should rather have in that slot is HP Ground or Fighting. Without it, you're best bet against most steels is Thunderbolt and that isn't too great. HP Fighting can also take care of dark types, but HP Ground is the better choice, taking down Heatran without much trouble. Your Gallade screams for Shadow Sneak, but whatever.Arcanine + Vileplume Arcanine @ Leftovers Nature: Adamant Ability: Intimidate Evs: 255 Atk / 255 Speed / 4 HP ~Flare Blitz ~Extremespeed ~Sunny Day ~Thunder Fang Vileplume @ Black Sludge/Heat Rock Nature: Timid Ability Chlorophyll Evs: 255 Sp. Atk / 255 Speed / 4 HP ~Solarbeam ~Sludge Bomb ~Sleep Powder ~Synthesis Heat Rock will only prolong Sunny Day if the person holding it actually uses Sunny Day. This strategy won't really work too well, because both Arcanine and Vileplume must be out at the same time for it to work. In doubles, you would need both your Pokemon to die to bring out both of these. Sunny Day in doubles works fine, but you need an entire team to work around it rather than just two out of six.Miltank + Gastrodon Miltank @ Leftovers Nature: Adamant EVs: 252 HP / 224 Def / 32 Spe Thick Fat ~ Heal Bell ~ Milk Drink ~ Metronome ~ Body Slam Gastrodon @ Leftovers Nature: Adamant Evs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD Ability: Sticky Hold ~ Curse ~ Earthquake ~ Waterfall ~ Recover For a team with both OU and UU, you only have one OU, but I supposed that's fine. Seriously, Gastrodon is unbelievably weaker compared to Swampert. The only thing Gastrodon has is an instant recovery move, but RestTalk Pert is an excellent set and is one of the best non-Natural Cure status absorbers in the game. The dual STAB on Gastrodon is pretty nice though and you might be able to sweep some unsuspecting victims. The Miltank is all wrong. In even sort of competitive battles, never use Metronome. Only use Metronome in fun battles, period. You could simply ruin your lead with Metronome. For instance, you use Metronome, and you get something terrible like Razor Wind. You can't attack next turn, and the turn after that will be only a 90 base power move and it might even miss. That free turn gives your opponent more time to set up or just plain kill you.

Yahoo!!~~ And Ya I know about metronome.I just put that in there because I copyed pasted it.
Vileplume Ill have Black Sludge and Arcanine will hold Heat rock.
Shadow Sneak for...Night Slash?
Also, What If I face a dragon then? I use Ice Punch? Usually Dragons are faster than Gallade. Ice Beam on Porygon Z is great.

Tri Attack from Porygon-Z will kill nearly any dragon anyway, so Ice Beam is just pointless.

Okay, but if you keep Ice Beam, what if a Metagross shows up? Your best bet against it is Thunderbolt/Dark Pulse, and those won't even do 50% to it.
Your choice. Keep Ice Beam and do nothing, or use HP Ground and kill steels.
