Appearance: A wooden creature covered in green and blue vines and leaves, along with various little white flowers on its back. It has some pointed chunks of wood sticking out of its back, along with out of its rather large tail. It's eyes are a crystal clear hue, and it has rather sharp teeth.

- Voltrellis can use some of the sharper parts of their bodies as lightning rods to gather power in storms.

Note: Voltrellis's base stats were adjusted a bit. 55 base Speed wasn't enough to gain any sort of benefit out of Motor Drive, so I cranked it up to 70 and took a few points out of some other stats. His BST is now 530.

Honestly, the Pikachu family has to stop hogging Volt Tackle to itself. I am in no way inclined to make Voltrellis's best physical Electric move Spark. (It stands on all fours, so it can't use Thunderpunch.) Oh, and if we agree to spread VT around, Luxray should get it too. I mean, is it that hard to coat oneself in electricity and tackle something?[/rant]

Anyways, 220 Speed EVs nets 384 Speed after a Motor Drive boost, which outspeeds anything running max Speed off of base 125. 252 EVs into the used attacking stat for maximum power, and the rest dumped into HP for the physical set and Atk for the special set. The special set has Power Whip to smack special walls with.

What about a possible Mixed Sweeper, so you can take out both types of walls?

That's an idea too. I just didn't post one yet because I want to try running calcs for it to find good EVs.

This looks like it could put Motor Drive, which is an excellent ability, to more use than Electivire can.

This Pokemon will probably single-handedly make teams use Thunderbolt less, and try to counter bulky waters and Gyarados with other methods.

Creating EV spreads for sweepers isn't hard. 252 into its attack, 252 into speed, a plus speed or attack nature, and 4 HP. Creating sets like walls or support is tougher to do though.
