I went to the old forum and found the official gym leaders. With our current pokedex, this is what I think gym leader's signature pokemon could be.
Gym #1) Electric - Zaphrok
Gym #2) Water - Chuslug
Gym #3) Ground - Knucknoll
Gym #4) Bug - Stibetel
Gym #5) Dark - Cicloar/ Wrectle (depends on level)
Gym #6) Grass - Ralzaleaf
Gym #7) Flying - Austraven
Gym #8) Poison - Venapike
P.S. We need more poison types. I only found two, one the evo. of the other.

Make sure you check the levels for each Gym Leader, and check it with which Pokemon evolve at what times. And not every signature Pokemon has to be 5th gen., but many of them should. So, if you need another Poison type, use maybe Gengar or Tentacruel.

I don't know the levels for the gyms, so I based it off of what I thought would be reasonable. The dark gym was the only one I wasn't for sure about, because I think Wrectan would be better but I'm not sure it would have a Lv. 40 pokemon or not.

This would actually be better if ninplayer told us the levels for each gym leader.

We can't really determine that yet because we know basically nothing about the layout of the region.
