Same here. All the lovely things aside from Gold/Silver were astonishing! I still have it, even with the internal battery dead, I just keep it to hold it, forever, never to be seen by GameStop.

I don't have mine anymore. It's gone somewhere. But Crystal will always hold a special place in my heart. Such a fantastic game...

And it's also sad for me, because I sold my Yellow and I loved it more than Red. Know why?
Cause I've never played it!
I've played FireRed though, and it's amazing! (Not the graphics, other stuff)

R/S/E was good, but imo it's the worst generation of the series. Diamond and Pearl brought the 3D aspect and had some good Pokemon, G/S/C was just plain fantastic and the longest games in the series, easily, and B/R/Y were just old school fun, and all the glitches were just fun to mess with =P
I mean, Mew before you even have to fight the second gym? Orly?
