Everyone's favorites are gonna be the remakes, that's why they remake them
But obviously, I like Yellow and Crystal too. Yellow = all starters. Cheap a lil? Crystal just had better storyline, plus some move tutors, Battle Tower and 'cune.

Yellow was better because of color as well, for me. Celadon City = FTW?
Yellow had very underpowered starters, however. When you got them their levels were low.
Crystal had a Battle Tower? I don't remember that...
