If you really want a good name, don't mix two names together. Try Rodark, or Rolauk, or something without two names mixed together.

There are so many official Pokemon names that are nothing but two blended words, but I agree, it is better to use more than just two words put together.

charcol + salamander = Charmander squirt + turtle = Squirtle bulb + dinosaur +Bulbasaur (not sure how that worked out)

Actually, it goes "Nible", "Bite", "Chomp", whilst adding another letter to the prefix. And Staraptor and its prevos are named after the bird "Starling".
